A cafe in Sydney's inner west suburbs that offers up a hip-hop inspired menu. So good!  I stumbled upon Metro Brewin's Food Stall for the first time at the French Bastille Festival in the city and I still think about it all the time. The Boomin Steak & Frites was on offer there. It has this green buttery entrecote sauce that brings it all together and I was salivating while waiting in line. The portion is huge, so make sure to share with someone. It came pre-cut so I assume it is meant to be.

Ordered for a group of 2:
Boomin' Steak & Frites in a baguette (with french fries, sirloin and entrecote sauce)
Smash Hit Chimichurri (with smash potatoes and hommus)
Gnocchi a la Vodka (with chicken snitzel and pink sauce)
Iced Coconut Matcha

A generous dollop of hommus with crispy potatoes and a fresh chimichurri on top to slice through the heaviness was part of the entrees we had.

Creamy and flavourful, you can tell they used the good heavy cream and the gnocchi, was soft and fluffy.

More mouth-watering photos of the Boomin' Steak & Frites in a baguette (with french fries, sirloin and entrecote sauce). Maybe I could've eaten the whole thing myself, if we didn't order the extras.

I just love to take photos of food with my camera; it's so satisfying to capture plates when they are presented beautifully. For these I used my Fujinon 23mm f2 lens to do the job. It's a great focal length because I can sit comfortably at the table and still get all the food in. With a 30-35mm it's always been abit tight and often have to stand up to get a good top view POV.

There is parking on site, but it was difficult to navigate around the businesses. So we parked across the road at the Marrickville shopping centre and it was a 2 minute walk over.
Thank you Metro Brewin'. Check out the menu here.
