Beautiful Coogee Beach Captured With My Fujifilm

Photographed at Coogee Beach, NSW Australia; November 2023
Taken with Fujifilm X-T30ii and Fujinon XF 27mm f2.8 lens; Edited in Lightroom

As pledged earlier, I am trying to post all of my photography that I have already uploaded to my Instagram I started in March (you can read more that here). Finding my creativity again, I started with my first Instagram post and realised how big of a back log I have (spoilers; it's at least 8 months worth). So please be patient with me as I try to post as much as I can here.
I'm finding I'm enjoying this blogger layout - with Instagram I had to think about carousel order and a quick and sweet caption. And I much prefer typing on my keyboard then my phone. I swear I started to get cramped fingers.

Walking through Coogee in Summer is like nothing else. It was a rare day off without the kids. I simply walked along the beach then along the coast heading south. I found some beautiful gems. Of course I had to get the iconic Coogee Baths, which I've never been in, and the Sea Pools. The waves were gently crashing and calm. The clouds came and went, that is why you'll see some differences in light here.

I was shooting with my trusty Fujifilm X-T30ii which I've had for a couple of years now. I really love the small form factor and how easy it is to hold. For recipes I always keep it at the infamous Reggie's Portra because it's warm yet neutral. Then I got back home to edit again in Lightroom. It's always very light retouching unless I intentionally seek a more artistic or experimental approach.
And I had can transfer wirelessly to my phone or tablet. It's such an upgrade from my old Canon D70 that I had to sign into my Canon's special Wi-Fi and hope for the best. I hope you enjoyed these sunny and bright photos of our Iconic Coogee Beach.
